Envy is a 1 year old, female british lab bred by Lost Highway Kennels. She was Emily's pick of the litter for her outgoing and playful personality. Envy has lived in Emily's home since she was 8 weeks old.
Envy was introduced to birds at 7 weeks old and has been trained multiple times a week since then for obedience, upland and waterfowl. She is motivated, playful and enjoyable to be around. She loves birds, is a fantastic marking dog, runs hard and fast, and is quiet and stable at the line. Envy would excel as a versatile hunting companion or hunt test dog.
Envy would be bested suited to a family with grown children and no dogs or approved dogs. She can resource guard food but is very easily managed and social in social settings with other dogs. Envy has been tested through Embark and is a carrier for SD2, which does not affect her but she will be sold on a spay contract (or we would be happy to spay her for her forever home).
Envy has lived with professional trainers her entire life. She was raised in a home with proper socialization and crate training. She is clean, quiet, and manageable with a good off-switch. Envy has high food drive and moderate ball drive.
Envy knows basic obedience, including recall, place, sit, down, and heel. She has been to a variety of environments and travels frequently.
Envy has been forced fetched, has been steadied, is through single t on land, has started single t on water, understands basic handling and pattern blinds, and is doing well with double marks. She is well on her way to being able to run a seasoned/senior test.
